 We had a fun and full June!

Ivy had her first dance recital with her new dance studio, and she did so well! She even received the "Best Technique" award for her team! Everyone came to watch her, including Dallen, Cami, and Siona, and we all thought she did great:

Zane went to the high school's soccer camp this month with some friends and had the BEST time!

Ryan and I went on a few fun dates this month, including to see "Once on This Island," and to a former student's wedding reception high in the mountains near SLC:

I got an award at work this month! Someone from our connected office nominated me for "Inspiring Spirit" for the fun Fear Factor office activity we put together.

We had World Cup fever starting this month! I think we had pretty much every match possible on our TV over the course of the tournament, and it was so fun to watch. Ryan even made this little World Cup tracker so we knew what matches were coming next, who was playing, and what the current scores were. For the big final match between Spain and Argentina we even ate food from those countries to celebrate!

Ivy had her musical theater camp this month, where she learned some lines, songs, and dances for Peter Pan the musical. She did so great as a mermaid and Lost Kid! She also loved that they took them swimming for an hour every day at the end of camp.

Ryan started buzzing his hair this month, so it was fun to check out what a mullet would look like:

I loved going to celebrate a friend's birthday this month!

Hyrum went to FSY at BYU this month, and he had the best time!

His old seminary teacher was even the director of the whole session:

Hyrum and one of his best friends went to Smithfield to help paint Grandma and Grandpa Schuetzler's house this month. It was a fun summer job, and he enjoyed some special time hanging out with his grandparents:

They even got ice cream and went to a movie:

My niece came to spend a day with us before she went into the MTC! We loved hanging out with her shopping, eating, and going to Bridal Veil Falls:

Then we all dropped her off at the airport! We know she is doing such great work to bring others to Jesus Christ!

It was Vineyard Days at the beginning of the month, so it was time for our annual family 5k! Hyrum got out of it this year because he had his job mowing lawns, but me, Ryan, and Cora ran the 5k while Zane and Ivy ran the kids' 1k. Everyone did so well!

Later that day we watched the parade right near our house!

Hyrum got to march with the flags for his high school marching band, which he practiced for all week. He loved it, but it's the closest he'll get to being in the marching band as an orchestra kid:

We all enjoyed going to the festival at the nearby park. Everyone went around with their friends (I think most of the kids went multiple times during the week), and Ryan and I turned it into a little date to watch the performance:

Both Ivy and Zane even convinced some of their friends to do the rides with them:

We went to the BYU Information Systems alumni fiesta at the Provo Rec Center this month, which the kids really enjoyed:

Zane chose to do a cooking camp with me for his summer camp this year, and he did a great job! He chose everything he wanted to make and I was only there to assist. He made a homemade funfetti cake, frosting, and fondant into this soccer ball:

And he made pizza roll-ups with homemade dough!

Cora went to girl's camp this month and had a great time!

The kids had their big CF appointment this week that includes the blood draw, and they were all troopers. We also found out at this appointment that Ivy was wearing Cora's shirt, and that it pretty much fit:

Me and Ivy went to a little farmer's market in Vineyard this month to support a friend's flower stand:

We had crazy pollution this month from a huge fire in southern Utah. The sky looked really disgusting for a few days and made the sun look red:

At that same time we had a Relief Society retreat going camping in the mountains. The weather was perfect, the setting beautiful, and it was a great opportunity to connect with women from the ward!

It was a great month full of a ton of camps for almost everyone, but we all enjoyed our activities!
