Ryan’s 33rd

Ryan had his birthday in June and we celebrated in the usual way- a cheesecake party! We had circus cracker cheesecake:

On Ryan’s actual birthday he got a yummy breakfast, took the morning off from breakfast and we headed to the Amazing Pizza Machine for some family fun!

And we ended the day off with a good old-fashioned tornado drill. We were much more prepared this time, and luckily our house was safe, though the neighboring town did get a tornado!

I love my man and couldn’t have hoped for a better partner in life and best friend. He works hard, is so smart, and tries to do his best in all his callings. Happy Birthday Love!

June 2018

We had a great June! I love these kids and all the time they’ve gotten to play (and fight) together this summer!

Ryan and I got to go on a date to the Taste of Omaha festival in June. We love doing that!

Ivy and I went on a trip to southern Utah for a super quick family reunion. Here we are at the airport:

The family reunion was for way extended family- it included everyone from my great grandparents on down. I loved that we did a little scavenger hunt seeing all of our personal family history sites around St George! Here’s Mindi in front of the Jujube tree my grandma used to make candy out of:

Ivy loved the rocks and playing at my Aunt Joyce’s house!

Of course I loved seeing so many Ruesch cousins, Aunts, Uncles, and my parents and sister!

Ryan was amazing and stayed home with the older three kids so I could go to this reunion. The kids had a great time and even got to go see The Incredibles 2! We also realized how much Ivy is the reason our house is so messy…

I got the amazing opportunity to go to a Faith Hill/Tim McGraw concert and the end of June with my friend Traci in Des Moines! It was so fun to have some girl time, dance and sing to some of my favorites, and eat delicious Italian food!
