My handsome little boy at 19 months!

No more binky! We threw away all of Hyrum’s binkies on Sunday, and Hyrum has been doing pretty well without them. He has only cried a little bit before going to sleep at night. He has only missed two naps so far, too. He got to go to Target and pick out a “big boy” toy to celebrate his achievement (he picked My First Leaptop and is LOVING it). I don’t know if I post this before, but he calls a binky an “ish-ish.” I have no idea where that came from.

Hyrum likes to sit on the potty- he even pretended to go on it once!

Safety first! He really loves to wear Ryan’s bicycle helmet :)

Hyrum really likes to play with other kids now, especially older kids, though he tends to get pushed around a little by them.

No shirt and Daddy’s shoes. What could be better?

He likes to wear ties, hats, and shoes no matter what he’s wearing.

He likes to eat pasta, pizza, pb&j in the car, Oreos, chocolate, water, peas, and most fruit. He calls a banana a “buh-lah-buh-lah” with his tongue sticking out every time he says the l. It is so funny!

We made newspaper hats one evening to try to entertain Hyrum with something new. However, he wanted nothing to do with them. So we took a pic of us instead.

He knows the letter “o” by sight and will call it “o.” That’s the only letter he knows though :)

Please mommy? Can I play with something dangerous?

He watched the youtube music video “Friday” by Rebecca Black and has since sang “friday, friday” any time we’re singing any song. We have Ryan to thank for that.

Have you seen this fake cheesy smile before? He likes to do it a lot nowadays.

This kid is growing like a weed. I still feel like he needs new clothes every few months because he outgrows the old ones! At least he outgrows shirts pretty quickly. Like his dad, his height is in his torso, so he wears 2T shirts and size 9-12 month shorts mostly.
