Hyrum’s first by-himself prayer: “Dear Heavenly Father, thankful, thankful, bless, bless, bless, Christ, Amen.”

Super Hyrum!

Ryan told Hyrum to come give Mommy a big kiss. Hyrum ran up to me and climbed onto my lap. I asked him, “where’s my kiss?” He pointed to my lips and said “Right here!”

Hyrum loves to play with friends, especially Carlee- don’t they look so cute reading together?

My mom (Hyrum’s grandma) took Hyrum out garage sale-ing one Saturday morning while Ryan and I were at the temple. He saw a naked Barbie for sale and kept telling my mom, “shirt!” He then told the lady in charge very insistently while showing her the doll, “shirt!”

Hyrum used to say “Jesus” when we would point Jesus out in a picture or something, but now when we ask, “who’s this?” he’ll say, “Jesus Christ, amen.”

18 Weeks!

We have been trying to get Hyrum used to the idea of a new baby coming by telling him things like ‘there is a baby inside Mommy’s tummy’ and such. However, the other day he pointed to his own tummy and said “baby!” I guess we have some more explaining to do…

We made a ‘Thankful Tree’ for the month of November and filled it with things we are thankful for. We are so very blessed!

Different things Hyrum said he was thankful for over the month of November when asked: iPad (this was the most frequent response), cars, and Diego (his new favorite TV show).
