Happy 2014!
Cora has started to really be into princesses this month, even though I don’t really think I pushing it. She knows Belle and Ariel by name and she loves to wear her two tops with princesses on them. In fact, she won’t wear anything else unless her princess tops are dirty.
Cora LOVES 2, the letter “B,” and the color blue. That is the number she says for everything, the letter she always wants me to write for her, and the color she always picks.
During the week, Ryan usually gets up with Cora since he was work in the morning. Once it’s time for him to leave, I get up. I know, I have an amazing husband So there were a few mornings this month that after Ryan left, Cora came to wake me up by crawling into my bed and sitting on my head with a diaper full of stink. I sure got up fast then!
This month Hyrum has loved pretending to be things. He’ll always say, “Mom, pretend I’m a ______.” It’s pretty cute. Some of his favorites were to pretend to be an egg that would then hatch into a flying puppy, a robot, and a bird. His robot is hilarious.
Hyrum and Cora’s great-great-grandma sent us a fun Valentine’s box this year, and the kids have been loving their bears:
When I was holding a friend’s baby the other day right at the end of church, Hyrum ran up to me after his class and said in a very surprised voice, “Did that just come out of your belly?!” No, son, this is not my baby. I’m not even pregnant!
Hyrum told me a few weeks ago, “You’re the best mommy in the whole city.” I’ll take it
Ryan is such a great dad. Here is teaching them how to box and ride a horse:
