Cora and I went to Mormon night at Werner Park to watch the Stormchasers, because everyone else was sick. It was fun, and Cora lasted longer than I thought she would! It helps when you can roll down the hill:
Hyrum and Ryan got to go to the last game in the College World Series to see our poor UA Wildcats get defeated. Even though we lost, the boys had a great time at the game!
We went to the zoo a few times in June and saw the new Africa area. It was super hot, and we aren’t used to the heat anymore!
We went to Taste of Omaha this month, and it was AWESOME! One of my favorite things we’ve done here yet. We got to taste food from a ton of restaurants around town, and the kids got to see an animal show and go in a bounce house. It was really fun and we definitely plan on going again next year. And it was pretty to walk right by the river:
We had friends come in town, and they wanted to see the world’s biggest ball of stamps, and so, we went!
We also took another trip to Winter Quarters visitor center:
The kids loved the new exhibit at the Children’s Museum too (Mermaids and Pirates):
For Cora’s birthday we got tickets to see the musical The Little Mermaid at the Rose theater, and I think we all liked it!
We went to the Durham Museum for our first time and the kids really enjoyed it, especially their pirates exhibit and trains:
