Google's Then and Now (I think about a 2 year difference):
We did "People in our Community" for the letter P for Ivy's preschool one week this month, and she really loved giving Ryan and I a check-up for the doctor part:
She was also a mail carrier and a fire fighter:For the letter Q she learned about quilts, went on a quest, and was the queen of hearts:
When we had some extra time in the evenings this month, we tried to entertain ourselves as a family, like by making a human pyramid and playing the human knot game:
Ryan and I went to Tucano's (for Valentine's Day) for the first time in many, many years!
Ivy really loves to draw people these days:
Zane really loves to wrestle:Ivy loves her Sarah doll she got for Christmas, and sometimes she even comes in the car with us:
Zane had his 100th day of school this month! Here is dressed like a 100-year-old man:
Zane built this all by himself without instructions!
We had a couple park mornings this month, and Ivy LOVED it:
When Ivy fell asleep all wrapped in a blanket on the floor like this, she almost got stepped on a few times because she was so camouflaged:
Cora started tumbling at a local dance studio- she loves it! Here she is being silly (she was cold) with her second cousin, who is also in the class:
We did V for Valentine's Day this month for preschool. Ivy made a heart necklace, like from the book, "The Day It Rained Hearts":
She also decorated Valentine sugar cookies:
The other kids got to decorate cookies when they got home from school too:
Ivy and I were in downtown Provo one afternoon, and I saw that the gates were open to the grounds of the Provo City Center temple! Me and Ivy walked around, and man, it was so beautiful and wonderful to be able to do that!

For their Valentine's Day parties at school, both Hyrum and Cora had to dress up. Hyrum had an etiquette lunch, where they learned about using the right silverware, how to be polite, and he even had to escort a girl to her table where he pulled out the chair for her. He was a bit embarrassed about that part:
Cora and Zane started private swim lessons this month! We're trying to get Cora ready for recreational swim team in the summer, and I would just love if Zane could start swimming independently:
Valentine's Day!
Zane got everyone these fun masks for Valentine's Day:
Waffles with pink sprinkles for breakfast on Valentine's Day!
They loved their balloons and love notes:
I love these little V-day Nerds:
We played a couple Valentine's Day games together since Valentine's was on a Sunday this year, like Bingo, and V-day Headbanz:
Homemade pasta and alfredo for dinner, and then chocolate fondue for dessert:
Love how cute these siblings are to each other:
I had a dance party at my house this month with two of my old roommates, and we colored our hair with chalk and put on some face glitter for it- because sometimes it's a blast to party like you're eighteen again!
When the kids saw the hair chalk and face glitter the next day, they HAD to get in on it:
I let Zane write on our chalk board this month, and I love what he did (and yes, he loves himself)!
Ryan was on treat for Family Home Evening one night, and he decided to make the kids do a blind taste test for it. They loved it and have wanted to do it every time ever since then (we haven't):
Zane is doing so well with piano since he started in January! He is racing through his books:
Cora made it to the finals of the spelling bee at school! It was fun to get to watch her via Zoom. She didn't win, but I was so proud of her for making it that far!
Cora had an Alice in Wonderland themed party (also- why will she only smile for reals in a photo her teacher takes?):
Cuddle buddy:
We had a fun Valentine's snack one day:Valentine's Day!

We had Parent-Teach Conferences this month, and all three kids are doing so well. They're all advanced and super well behaved in class, so they all earned a special treat! We went to Sweet Rolled Tacos:
We all love when Uncle Dallen visits! Sometimes the kids just won't stop wrestling him though, so Dallen has devised a way to get them to calm down- meditation:
Ivy made her name with fruit snacks one day, all on her own!Ryan used to get huge pizzas with his roommates back when he was a freshman at BYU, so when he heard that there was a place still making them in Provo, we had to share it with our kids. It was so big, it took up the entire trunk of our car:
Not only was it huge, but it was also delicious!
Zane finally was able to make his solar system model he got for Christmas. He had a lot of fun and it looks awesome!
