Cora's 10th Birthday

 Cora did a lot of fun things to celebrate her 10th birthday! She had a friend party this year, which was a "Late Night Glamour Party." She had twelve friends attend and they got to stay until 10 pm! Here was some of the set-up:

She gave out these amazing cookies as favors that a local company made (I won the custom cookies at the school's auction):

We started the party with pizza, watermelon, and lemonade:

Then we had Cora's ice cream cake:

Then the girls got to do their hair (hair chalk and scrunchies), nails, and make-up (including face glitter):

After the girls were all dolled up, they recorded a little music video to "Better When I'm Dancin." Then they watched the Disney Channel movie Zombies with some popcorn and treats!

Cora really loved her party, and she said her favorite part was being able to have all her friends over at once!

On Cora's actual birthday she got breakfast in bed (crepes and strawberries):

And she loved opening up her presents from us, which included a new bike, Tamagotchi, books, and a spa chair for her OG dolls:

Cora was actually recovering from being sick the day before, so she didn't go to church on her birthday, but she was willing to put on her special birthday/Easter dress for some pictures:

She spent a lot of her birthday (which was on Easter this year!) playing with her new toys and putting together her new Lego set:

We had a special birthday lunch for her, and she chose to have homemade noodles, Alfredo sauce, watermelon, cookies and cream milk, and garlic bread. Her special birthday dessert was ice cream sundaes with five different kinds of ice cream (chocolate, vanilla, cookies and cream, birthday cake, and strawberry) and lots of different toppings (marshmallows, chocolate chips, gummy worms, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, crushed Oreos, and sprinkles).

For a family activity for her birthday, we first went to the Puppy Store so Cora could play with a little puppy:

Then we all went to Color Me Mine to paint some pottery:

We all loved painting the pottery! Ryan didn't paint one, but he was a great paint fetcher.

Cora had a great birthday, and we were so glad to celebrate her! Cora is adventurous, a kind friend. always trying to do what's right, outgoing, creative, hard working and so smart. She loves baking, dogs and bunnies, playing with friends, Disney channel movies and shows, watermelon, ice cream, and jumping on the trampoline. We love her so much and are so glad that such an amazing girl is part of our family!
