We had a lot fun of fun on Christmas Eve and Christmas day! On Christmas Eve we went ice skating as a family:
Then we went to lunch at Olive Garden:

The night of Christmas Eve we had our traditional homemade pretzels on a blanket by the tree for dinner, then we acted out the nativity. Cora was Mary, Zane was Joseph, Ivy was the angel, Hyrum was a shepherd, Tricia was a sheep, and Ryan was the narrator:
Then the kids opened their ornament for the year. Ivy got a cartwheeling girl, Zane got a baptism boy, Cora got a cheerleader, Hyrum got a cello, and Ryan and I got a San Francisco trolley car and a turtle (Hawaii):
Then we opened up our matching pajamas:
The kids were up bright and early the next morning. Santa brought Ivy a Gabby's Dollhouse, Zane some fighting robots, Cora a polaroid camera, and Hyrum a Lego rocket:
I got a giant map to put on our office wall, and Ryan got some little programming kits:
We ate our delicious Christmas breakfast, then headed to church. Cora, Zane, and Ivy sang a song with the primary, and Ryan sang a few songs with the choir and other groups, as well as led the audience in a song:
When we got home from church the kids played with their new toys, like the marble run:Lego rocket:
KiwiCo boxes:
The kids put on a Christmas piano recital for their grandparents and aunts and uncles on Zoom that afternoon (Ivy even learned a couple songs to play):We had a delicious meal for Christmas dinner:

Then we ended the night with a Christmas lights scavenger hunt, homemade crème brulee, and a dessert tray for the kids. It was a great Christmas!
