February 2023

We had a great February! Ivy celebrated her 100th day of school by dressing like she was 100 years old and having a little class party centered around the number 100:

Cora's class voted her the most kind, so she got this free T-shirt from the kind squad!

Zane went to Disneyland with Grandma and Grandpa Martin this month, and he got these Ironman gloves that he was loving to wear all the time, even when he was doing his homework:

My nephew came to stay with us for a couple of days (mostly to hang out with Ivy), and they played in the snow, ate slushies, and we went to multiple play places, including the children's museum:

The kids have been playing out in the snow the majority of their free time this month:

Sometimes on Wednesdays I take these two out to lunch, since Hyrum gets out of school early and Ivy still has half-day kindergarten, and it has been fun! Their favorite is Costa Vida:

I took the kids to the Provo Rec Center one random day off of school, and they had a great time!

Hyrum had a spirit day at school of "everything but a backpack," and so he brought this luggage to school instead of a backpack that day:

Ryan's parents came to town to celebrate Dallen's birthday this month, and it was fun to see how many of us we could squish in the elevator at Ryan's work:

BYU had this fun Valentine's set-up in the Tanner building, so of course we had to take a picture:

And of course, we had to get ice cream with Grandma and Grandpa Schuetzler:

We played Top Golf in honor of Dallen's birthday, and everyone had a great time:

Sometimes these two littles are very cute together:

The kids learned that when their uncle was little, he once put a piece of bologna on his head and called it a hat, so they decided they wanted to follow in his example and make their own "hats:"

I got to chaperone Zane's field trip this month to the dino museum at Thanksgiving Point, and it was great to be able to spend that time with him and other kids from his class!

We got a lot of snow this February, including one really big storm that was awesome and beautiful:

We went tubing at Soldier Hollow this month. We went down lots of times and had a blast! Even Ivy was brave enough to do it this time:

Ivy had her first dance competition this month, and they did awesome! She was killing it and adorable up there:

Grandma and Grandpa Martin were even there to see Ivy dance at her competition! Ivy's team got two first places, and Ivy was so proud of her medal that she wore it around the house for the next couple of days:

Zane has been playing basketball this month, and has improved so much since he started! He even made four baskets in one game this month!

My parents took me shopping and out to dinner for my belated birthday this month and it was nice to spend that time with them:

Cora got invited to a birthday party where she got to make BYU earrings then attend a BYU basketball game. She loved it!

Cora also got her date with Daddy this month from one of her Christmas gifts, and she chose to go to Costa Vida, then rock climbing, then to pet a puppy at the Puppy Store. She loved it all!
