The first weekend after school got out in May we took a little trip to Idaho to visit our sisters. We met Maren in Idaho Falls, where we walked the Greenbelt:
It was fun to see the temple from a few different angles on that walk:
Then Andrew met up with us after work and we went to a delicious Mexican restaurant near our hotel. There was also this swing near our hotel that the kids were a little obsessed with:
After a break, we went to a delicious and amazingly cheap gelato place in Idaho Falls that we absolutely loved!
The next day we spent at Bryan and Mindi's house hanging out with their family and my niece and her boyfriend, and celebrating Mindi and Ethan's birthdays. The kids also threw knives and did some sword dueling.
The next day we went to Bear World. We were one of the first cars in there, and the animals were so active! We had a bear cross our path and come within a couple of feet of the car:
Then Cora and I drove around the drive-thru animal viewing one more time while the others visited the entertainment part of the park (Cora was sick that day).
The baby bears were so cute:

They rode the little rides:
They also enjoyed going around the little dinosaur park area they had there:
Ivy liked the sand pit too:
After Bear World we headed home since Cora was sick, but we had a fun time and it was great to see some family up there!
