September 2025

We had a fun September! Zane finally earned his summer date by reading his required books, and he picked to go to a Rage Room with Ryan. They had a great time!

They smashed a scanner/printer and some other things (Ryan got some ink on his hand from the experience):

They also threw some glass:

They ended the night with a Cazookie from The Chocolate:
The kids had fun doing Ryan's hair one day:

We took family pictures this month! Here we are waiting for our photographer to get there:

We went to Taste of Orem as a family, and the kids all tried some great new stuff like Indian curry, birria, and more!

The kids made mustaches and beards out of some stickers:

Hyrum went to his first high school formal dance this month! He went to Homecoming with a friend, and it took him and his friends awhile to get organized, but they had fun:

Cora, dressing as her type for a school spirit day:

Zane went fishing with his friend a few times this month, and they actually caught some!

Ryan made a digital calendar for our kids! He programmed it onto an old tablet we had and linked the school lunch calendar and my Google calendar, so now they can see what they have coming without needing to ask me. We are all loving it, and I am especially loving that we paid $0 for it (companies sell similar things for $100's of dollars, plus a subscription).

Cora got to tour the MTC with the youth this month, and they went to the BYU Creamery afterwards!

I finally finished putting up this wallpaper in our room this month! I love how it turned out:

Ivy went to "Back to Dance" night at her new dance studio and she had a fun time there with some new dance friends and won a new hoodie that she's been wearing non-stop!

I took the kids to the new Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point (now called Curiosity Farms), and it has been improved SO much!

The kids enjoyed watching the goats go over the bridge:

They got to climb this tall tower:

Little hatchlings:

Petting a goat at the farm:

My last kid who is still small enough for a pony ride:

Beautiful flowers at the farm!

The kids loved the playground at the back and did not feel that they got enough time there:

One night for date night, Ryan and I checked out how pictures would look by the lake. We found some good spots:

The garden kept producing this month, and we made some homemade spaghetti sauce and jalapeno ranch!

I love that Hyrum chooses to play piano during his treatment sometimes:

We had a really fun general authority come speak in our Stake Conference this month. His name was Elder Amos, and he spoke with a Southern Baptist fervor that I just really appreciated. The kids also sang in Stake Conference this month, and here they are practicing for it:

The girls decided to make and decorate a cake for FHS treat this month, and I think they did such a cute job! They even made the fondant by themselves:

The kids enjoyed practicing their double dutch this month, and even Aunt Cami got in on the action:

We saw a deer on the road in our town this month, which I've never seen before, and then that same week we saw a fox crossing a different road in our town too!

Zane signed up for orchestra at school this year, and he finally got his violin this month. Hyrum even helped him get started with it at home:

Zane had a lot of soccer games this month with his club soccer team, and they did so good! I don't think they lost a game in September.

Ivy's dance studio went to a dance convention in Layton this month, and she had a blast! She hung with her team, learned new dances from prominent professionals, and even got to eat some meals there:

She especially loved getting her own bed in the hotel room with me, since she ended late one night and had to be back early the next morning:

While Ivy was at convention, I read, watched TV, shopped, and went to dinner with these fun dance moms:

I made this banner for the PTA's membership booth this month in my role as PTA Membership Chair. I thought it turned out cute!

Both Ivy and Cora had their last hurrahs in their friends' pools this month before the colder weather came sweeping in!
