December was craziness for us this year. Two major weddings, two visiting friends’ families, my birthday, and a trip to UT for Christmas. Not to mention all the regular craziness of Christmas time. Here’s some pictures of most of it:
My birthday dinner at Texas Roadhouse with the Martins
They make you sit on this saddle there and twirl a napkin. Pretty embarrassing stuff…
My Cold Stone birthday ice cream cake! So yummy.
All the grandkids were excited about this cake, that’s how good it was :)
The first major wedding: Devin and Autumn. I teared up during both the sealing and the ring ceremony. They are such a wonderful couple! And they were really glowing the whole day. And, I have to add, they met on a blind date I set them up on :)
Our drive up to Utah included this, where we couldn’t tell where the land ended and the sky started. (I didn’t take pics of the way home, because it was just too scary the whole first half!)
The Christmas Eve nativity play, put on by the Schuetzlers. Hyrum was baby Jesus, again. Also, I did not take part in this play because I spent Christmas Eve puking my guts out. But I was all better Christmas morning!
Hyrum and his Aunt Meagan and Uncle Jim on Christmas morning. Hyrum only opened one present, then ran away whining when I tried to get him to open another one. Maybe next year it will go a little better for him…
Me and Ryan on Christmas morning
Us with the Christmas tree.
We also went to see the lights at Temple Square one evening:
Here’s Hyrum with a picture of Hyrum Smith, who he was named after.
Ryan’s brother, Tyler, got married while were in UT, so here are some pics from that. It was so nice to meet his wife, Angela. She is awesome and we’re glad to have her in the Schuetzler family.
Here’s Ryan with Tyler on his wedding day.
Here’s Meagan, decorating the car with beautiful Oreo spots.
Here’s Hyrum with his Aunt Maren, Uncle Dallen, and cousin Peyton.
Our family with the cute couple.
Then there was New Year’s Eve with the Martins once we got back to Mesa. We had hors devours and played games till midnight, then we watched some fireworks.

Me (of course)
Hyrum missed it all, being sounds asleep since his bedtime at 8 pm.
So that was most of our month in picture form. We also had visits from the Bohls’ family, the DeVores, Merissa, and the Martins. Good times!
Looks like you guys have had a fun holiday season. Also, Hyrum looks like a mischievous little cutie.
ReplyDeleteTricia, you look great. I'm a tad jealous...
