Hyrum’s Poem

When Ryan and I were looking for something to do one evening, I suggested we write Hyrum a silly poem. Here is the result of our effort:

Hyrum is a little boy;

He is his parent’s pride and joy.

He likes to dance and eat goldfish;

Drinking water- his greatest wish.

He likes to mimic dogs and cats,

But tries real hard to not get fat.

He likes to keep his Mom on edge

By waking early in his bed.

Playing outside and eating rocks,

he always wants to wear his socks.

Changing his diaper is quite the chore;

Be sure to lock the bathroom door!

He’s short and cute and runs around;

A smarter boy cannot be found.

Dear little Hyrum, it’s you we love,

Our greatest blessing, sent from above.
