Cora turned 6 in April! She had a small get-together with a few friends from school, where they went and got their nails done, then came home and had cake and ice cream. Cora had a great time!
On her actual birthday she had Lucky Charms with unicorn marshmallows for breakfast, then got to open her presents, where she got a Hatchimal, a jewelry box, some books and clothes, and a scooter:
At school, her class sang to her, she got to wear a birthday crown, and she got to give out little squishies to her classmates. I also got to bring her McDonald’s for lunch and eat with her!
We walked home from school (like Cora always begs to), and she got to ride her new scooter to the park then home:
She picked watermelon, mashed potatoes, rolls, chocolate milk and hard-boiled eggs for dinner, and she wanted to eat in the dining room, so of course we obliged!
After dinner we went to Runza for ice cream cones as she requested, and I think she had a great birthday!
Happy birthday to my little Cora Susan! She’s such a helper at home and school, super girly (wears skirts or dresses almost every day), determined, smart, and such a blessing to our family every day! We love her soooo much!
