Ever since we moved to Papillion, we have made a summer fun list with the kids. They love it, and I love that it forces me to do things with the kids rather than just sit at home with screens all summer. We did a lot of those activities in June!
Splash Pad (Ivy hated it):
Gene Leahy Mall in Omaha, along with the infamous slides:
The Hollywood Candy shop, where we let each kid have a basket and pick what they wanted, within a $5 limit. What actually happened was that we spent an obscene amount of money on candy…:
Much of the candy was eaten in the car on the way home, with a baby ending up with chocolate all over:
Craft Day! Each kid got to choose a craft to do. Hyrum chose Star Wars origami (we made a Millennium Falcon, a Yoda, and a flower):
Zane chose drawing ourselves in sidewalk chalk":
Cora chose this painted butterfly craft:
Swim Lessons! All three kids learned and grew so much in swim lessons this year! Hyrum was even able to jump off the high dive all by himself!

We had so much fun hanging out in June! I love the summer time!
