Love this sweet little girl. She started saying a lot more words this month, like “where is it?”- deh dih dit?, juice, cheese, more, and water.
Ryan and I went on a date bowling this month! We had fun, though I should probably have bumpers up next time.
The kids made this giant fort with their babysitter while we were gone!
We got to take Daddy to the zoo on the kids’ day off this month!
Pulling the raft across the water:
Cocoon time:
Bugs!
What a view from the top of the treehouse!
We fed the birds, who didn’t seem very hungry:
Carousel time!
We got to see quite a few beautiful monarchs while we were at the zoo too! Love that they migrate through our town!
Zane and Ivy have started to have “no, me!” fights in the car, now that Ivy can talk and loves to mimic Zane.
Cora did the cheer clinic at our high school this month, and she loved it! She said it was a dream come true It was adorable to watch her cheer out on the field!
We went to the play Judy Moody at the kids Rose Theater this month, and it was great!
Ivy loves to read, and loves her daddy.
Zane had a dinosaur theme one of his weeks of preschool and got this fun hat!
Zane tries to pretend he doesn’t need naps sometimes, but then this happens:
Ivy started nursery this month! She is such a little person already, drinking from a cup like an expert, so independent, and just always doing what her older siblings are doing. Here’s her picture from that day!
Zane has started to say, “Yeah, boy!” which is hilarious. I think he got the phrase from Teen Titans.
Cora moved up in her gymnastics class, so now she’s on the track for competing! She amazes me with how hard she will work to achieve something she wants, and gymnastics is no exception! Cora has discovered a love for selfies lately as well:
We got to celebrate my mom’s birthday with her when they came to visit this month!
My kids love having a tea party with Grandma Martin:
Gotta keep Ivy busy during her doctor appintments:
Hyrum has become obsessed with cats this month (brought on by the Cat Warriors series, I presume) and has come back around to loving Pokemon again (brought about by the Pokemon Fire Red computer game he’s been playing). He is also the sweetest big brother to baby Ivy:
Ivy loves coloring lately, and can actually hold the crayon right and everything. She’s so interested in coloring, she has even been coloring on walls and furniture around the house… But she also LOVES to carry around my pitchers from the kitchen cupboard:
Hyrum earned his wolf patch for cub scouts this month! He loves scouts, and I’m glad he was able to achieve this with the help of his pack and leaders:
I taught preschool this month! Our theme was “farm” and the kids had a great time getting the sheep back in the pen and washing the dirty farm animals:
We went to the Very Hungry Caterpillar at the Rose this month too! I loved this show- it was two guys using puppets, with really colorful and imaginative scenery and fun music that went along with the stories. I’m glad we got to go to this show!
I got to go to Time Out for Women this month with some really great ladies in Des Moines, Iowa! I had a good experience, and it was fun to get away for a weekend. Ryan was a trooper being at home with the kids!
School pictures!
