The kids started school in August!
We went to Meet the Teacher Night:
And then we had our first day!
Their school is really pushing kindness this year:
After Hyrum and Cora’s first (half) day, we picked up Daddy for a lunch out to celebrate, and then the kids got to see his office!
One week later it was Zane’s first day of co-op preschool! He’s been waiting for this day a long time- and he is loving preschool!
The first week of school Ryan also went to New Orleans for a conference. He ate some clams for the first time and checked out Bourbon Street (which he didn’t love). He went on a bus tour to see some of the sights of the city, including checking out next year’s Mardi Gras floats:

He also went to a Saints game!
And got beignets at the famous Café Du Monde (and brought us home a mix!):
