Clearly, Ivy loves cheese:
Zane started soccer this month! He's doing great- he stays in the game, runs for the ball, and even kicks it sometimes!
He also likes being on a team with his good friend:
We went to a BYU Alumni picnic this month, and it was fun to meet a few fellow cougars from around Omaha. The kids liked getting their face painted, playing at the park, and winning a football from the raffle:
We had a ward picnic at the park, and the older three sang a song with the primary to kick it off:
Cora is doing great in gymnastics!
We were talking about the armor of God from Ephesians and were explaining about the "sword of truth" and how it can cut error away. Zane said, "we should have the laser eyes of truth!"
Fun times at the library with these littles while the older two are at school:
Ryan and I bought season Broadway tickets mainly to make sure we could go to Hamilton, and finally- the day arrived! We went with a few friends who also went to the show and met for a dinner beforehand. It was a fun night!
Ivy loves to play catch and is always asking someone to play it with her whenever she finds a ball. She also loves to force a giggle, and is obsessed with wipes.
Showing off stickers from a birthday party:
We've had a few neighbors randomly drop off produce from their gardens for us this summer. It is always so nice, and another reason we love living here in Nebraska!
Cora loves to sing loudly while she practices the piano. She also is loving show choir, and will practice the songs and dances of her own choice whenever she gets a chance. We did her hair fun for church one day:
Ivy loves spiders, but does not like chocolate things:
CF appointment this month! They all did great and are healthy!
Zane had a fun run fundraiser at his preschool this month, and he did a great job running!
A few of us preschool moms showed up to watch them run, and I realized we had each written a different date on our visitors' tags! So funny! I was the most wrong (2 days off).
Ivy liked to get high fives from the older kids while they rain their laps:
Hyrum started the "Art Academy" for his siblings this month- but they only meet on Sunday afternoons in his room, where he then teaches them to draw. During recess, him and his best friend are figuring out the story to a new video game they're going to make together. He also told me the other day that he wants to win seven Olympic medals and then he'll use the money he earns from that to buy a lot of Switch games and Lego sets.
We went to see The Cat in the Hat this month at the Rose Theater. The kids loved it!
Hyrum gave our lesson one Sunday on the armor of God, and put on each item accordingly:
Hyrum had his first swim meet this month! It is amazing to see how far he's come the past year- from not really being able to trust him to swim alone in the pool to swimming lap after lap! He didn't want his picture taken of his arm with his events written on it:
Zane wants to be a policeman when he grows up. He also told me at school one day, when I told him he could go play with some little girls since his usual friends weren't there, that he can't talk to them because they're girls and "I can only be friends with boys!"
Zane eating a snack outside at school with his friends!
