We had a lot of fun this Halloween! We did lots of different activities throughout the month to celebrate.
This year Ivy, Cora, and I were witches, Zane was Black Panther, Hyrum was Link from Zelda: Breath of the Wild (a video game), and Ryan was old-school Link:
I tried to make different fun Halloween themed treats and dinners leading up to Halloween, including mummy hot dogs, graveyard pudding, pumpkin shaped pasta, and a Halloween charcuterie board:
We went to the Durham Museum's trick-or-treat event, where the kids got candy, decorated a monster rock, and toured the haunted train:
A different night we went to Werner Park's trick-or-treat event with some friends:
We went to our ward's Halloween party. Here's the girls:
Here's the boys:
Kid's costume parade:
Our trunk for the trunk or treat!
Pumpkin carving:
Painted little pumpkins from the pumpkin patch (Ivy liked to carry hers around and call it her baby. She would even ask you to babysit, aka hold it for her):
Ivy and I got to watch Hyrum and Cora's costume parade at school and help at Hyrum's school party:
Zane got to pound nails into a pumpkin and make slime at preschool on Halloween:
On Halloween night we made our traditional Halloween pizza:
Then we went trick or treating! Hyrum went with friends for the first time, and Cora saw a friend along the way!
So much candy!
