Google's Then and Now for the month (Ivy- June 2019 and September 2021):
A collage of Ivy's many selfie faces:
One evening Ryan and I went on a short walk to see Bridal Veil Falls (it had to be short because I was recovering from a pretty bad cold). In fact, someone in our house was sick from the end of August to the end of September (it rotated around). That's what we get after a year of the kids wearing masks to school and then suddenly not, I guess.
One Saturday this month we went apple picking at Rowley's Red Barn in Santaquin. It was simple and great! We also got some delicious ice cream and apple slushies:
It was September 11 that day, so I was glad to be able to stop at this flag display in Santaquin to talk to our kids about that day:
Kid chain with Daddy:
We got season tickets to the BYU football game this year, and Hyrum and Ryan got to go to the first one with Mindi and her friend! They had a great time (even with some rain), and it was an epic win against U of U.
I randomly saw that there was a Lego Masters finale event at a nearby theater one night, so we jumped at the chance since the kids (especially Hyrum) love the show Lego Masters.
It turned out, a ton of the cast of the show was actually there to watch the finale in person! Hyrum even got to ask them a question:
Then we waited in line for an hour and a half to actually meet the contestants from the show! Hyrum was in heaven, and all the kids enjoyed the little trinkets they gave out:
Love this cutie:
My parents came into town this month, and they got to watch one of Zane's soccer games. It was pouring rain the whole time, but they are die-hard fans!
Zane had an awesome season playing soccer, and he loved having Ryan as his coach:
We went out to lunch at Denny's while they were here to celebrate my Mom's retirement!
My dad got to go to one of the football games with me and the older two kids, and it was another super fun game to watch with another epic victory! Three generations of Cougar football fans:
Ryan and I had tickets to go to the 5 Browns this month, and it was a cool show!
Ivy did great with her first season of soccer! Her favorite part: the treats.
All of Ivy's team was kids from our neighborhood, and most of them were also in our ward, so it was fun for her to hang out with them!
While Ryan was in Germany, I took the kids out to a new chicken tender place:
I also took the younger two to their first football game! They did great and had a really fun time:
Twinning Sisters!
Hyrum also went on a field trip to a space center in Utah Valley, and he was chosen to be lead commander over all the other teams! I heard he did great and he loved the trip!
Ryan and I finally went to breakfast to celebrate our anniversary (only a month late due to tons of sickness). We went to TruReligion, which is delicious!
