May 2022

Love this Then and Now of Ivy:

We celebrated May the Fourth with some yummy Star Wars donuts:

Cora got her dress for Mindi's wedding and looked so cute trying it on:

Daddy dog pile:

Cinco de Mayo with our ward!

We did a fun date this month getting Kluck's and just walking around downtown Provo:

I got to help in Cora's class a couple of times this month, once for Battle of the Books (Cora's team was in the top 5), and once for her Pioneer Day:

We got to celebrate Mindi's 40th birthday when she was in town for her bridal shower. We went to Thai food for dinner, and had a chocolate mousse cake!

We also celebrated my Dad's 70th birthday when they were in town with breakfast in bed and some presents:

We also went to a party for him and his twin brother at Jerry and Leslie's house:

We played a Plinko game that was pretty fun there as well:

Ivy had a few spirit dress-up days for her last week of preschool, including crazy hat day and costume day:

Mommy/Ivy park day!

We also took my parents to Tru Religion for some brunch in honor of Mother's and Father's day:

Hyrum really rocked his swim meet this month! He shaved a ton of time off of his events, and came in third for his 50 breaststroke and fourth for his 200 free:

For our last Mommy/Ivy day of the school year, she chose to go ice skating and have an indoor picnic at home:

Ivy drew this:

After the wedding, some of the Martins came to our house while they waited for their plane. They enjoyed finishing this puzzle together:

Ivy tried out for a dance competition team and made it! Should be a fun year of dance:

We had a game day for one of our summer fun events:

Ryan and I went to dinner one night, got cream puffs, and walked a bit of the Provo river trail for our date one night:

Zane earned some Froyo for good behavior!

We went to a story time for our city's celebration, and the kids also got to draw with some chalk:

We had a fun park day this month:

Zane and Ivy ended soccer this month. They both did great!

And the kids watched each other play:

Little soccer stud:

Ryan also did great coaching Ivy's soccer team!

Sleepy girl:

I had a great Mother's Day this year! Ivy answered these questions about me at preschool:

One of the kids also wrote me in as a blessing on our chalkboard:

Love these kids!

I also forced the kids to go on a walk with me (some were more happy about that than others):

We ended up at a nearby park:

Even I tried the tall slide:
Zane and Ivy's Lego creation:

Sometimes they're nice to each other and share a blanket:

Fun times with a sprinkler, some cheer stunts, and the trampoline:

Love these precious kiddos and I'm glad to be spending the summer with them!
