I can't believe how much my babies have grown!
Cora and Ivy had their cheer showcase at the beginning of December, and the whole family came to watch their first cheer performance of the season! They did so good!
Zane had his first choir concert this month, and he did so good too!
One Saturday this month the girls had their first cheer competition. We were up bright and early for Ivy's turn:
Grandma and Grandpa Martin were able to help me out with this competition since Ryan was out of town, and they got to see the girls compete too!
Me and the littles got to see Hyrum's art in the art showcase at his school one night. His art is getting so good!
I learned to make foccacia bread this month, and it was so very good:
Hyrum had an orchestra concert this month and he did a great job! Grandpa Martin was in town and got to see him perform as well:
December was Cora's last month in primary, and she was so glad to be done. Her future young women's group heart attacked her one night to welcome her into the Young Women's program next month!
Ivy made a little crown out of a paper plate one day (which she learned how to do from the Friend magazine):
The kids had another marble-run building kick this month, and Zane built this tower taller even than Hyrum!
Over Christmas break I took the kids to the Provo Rec Center one day:Ivy lost her first tooth this month! She was so happy to have finally lost one!
Cora has really been wanting Nike tennis shoes, so she was finally able to get some after saving up to pay for them mostly herself:
Hyrum had a swim meet at the end of this month, and it was an amazing one because he finally got his first state time!!!!! He got a state time in the mile event, and we are so, so, so proud of him. It's been many years he's been working for this, and we are just ecstatic that he was able to do it. Go Hyrum!
The boys got a professional haircut this month, and they turned out looking so handsome!
Hyrum got invited last minute to go to the First Presidency Christmas Devotional in person with our neighbors- such a cool experience for him!
Cutie Zane:
Zane had his last volleyball game this month, and he really did a great job with it! He had a good team and good coaches:
The next morning we did my presents, which included a handmade by Hyrum oven squirrel!
That night we had Dallen and Cami over for dinner and my ice cream cake. The kids insisted on putting all 37 candles on there, so it got pretty smoky...
Someone gave Ryan a giant duck for Christmas to add to his collection!
Ryan got to go with the Elders Quorum to TopGolf this month:
Cutie Hyrum practicing his cello the whole break:
It was a great month, and I especially loved the times we were able to be together as a family! 2023 was good to us!
