September Halloween Activities

Since our October is usually so packed, we decided to hit some of the fun Halloween-themed things in September this year. Mid-September we went to Cornbelly's in Spanish Fork, and it was so good! There were not crowds of people, plus we got the tail end of the Sunflower Festival there.

The kids all got buried in the corn pit (and I'm still finding kernels of corn):

The kids made giant bubbles:

Saw some fun scarecrows and tractors:

The kids tried to rope a "steer":

There were fun little playground things:

Lots of fun picture spots:

We rode the train a few times:

The sunflowers were so pretty!

The kids tried to hit the bell, but weren't very successful:

Hyrum tried the little kid maze:

Everyone tried the apple cannon:

I even got to pick a bunch of sunflowers to take home! That was my favorite part:

A week or two later we went back to Lagoon for our last time this year. It was Frightmares when we were there, so there were fun Halloween displays all over and they had a couple Halloween activities. Zane got to bring his best friend as his birthday party this year too!

Ryan and Ivy had fun going around together:

Puff, Ivy's favorite ride at Lagoon:

Some of the fun Halloween displays:

We also waited in line about two hours to ride Primordial, which most of us hadn't ridden yet. It was actually a cool ride and might be my personal favorite at Lagoon, but not worth a two hour wait:

Zane and his friend on the Roller Coaster:

Bumper cars:

This pumpkin walk with pumpkin princesses was a fun addition for Halloween:

The younger kids got to do the Treat Street, where they did little actions to get candy from different characters:

Actually, the sky way might be Ivy's favorite ride (the other kids' favorite is Cannibal), and we all got a chance to ride it:

The littles got a big slushy to end their time at Lagoon, and in celebration of Zane's birthday party. Zane chose to go to Pizza Pie Cafe afterwards, so we all enjoyed our late lunch there.

It was really nice to be able to do fun Halloween things in September since we wouldn't have had time in October, and we were glad to celebrate Zane a bit early too!
