Here's some good then and nows for January:
Ryan's been lifting weights pretty regularly for a long time now, and he's getting so strong!
Dreamwalk was fun to walk around with friends. It had a bunch of different fantasy lands and scenes that were fun to be immersed in:
There was a secret code we had to look for around the place to decipher, and it took a good amount of effort to find:
We went sledding this month! It was a perfect day for sledding- fresh snow, warm weather, and sunny skies:
Beautiful views:
Snow angels:
Fun building times with our new Jenga set:
Cora got braces this month! She only has top braces for now and she looks so cute:
Her first day after braces her teeth were too sore to eat a lot of things, so she survived off of mashed potatoes and cream of wheat:
I took Ivy on her date this month, and we started at Zupas:
Then we went to Nickel City and had fun playing all the games:
We ended our fun date with dessert at Cinnaholic:
I made this bouquet for a friend's parent who has passed and I loved how it turned out:
Cora had a cheer competition this month, and she did amazing! Her team got first place:
We did what we call, "Sunbeams standing up" for Family Home Evening one night for the first time in many years and it was funny watching Ryan try to throw Cora into the air:
Cutie kids all cozy and ready to walk to school:
I also took Zane on a date this month and we went bowling and to Costa Vida. He did great and beat me a couple of times:
He enjoyed the Skittles Remix machine as well:
Cute girls taking selfies:
Zane went to his first school dance! It was luau-themed, and he looked so handsome in his Hawaiian shirt:
Ivy was the cutest little old lady when she dressed like she was 100 years old for her 100th day of school! She also brought 100 tiny glow in the dark bunnies to school:
Hyrum had his high school regional swim meet this month! Here's the team that made it to state:
Hyrum did great at regionals! He got 7th place in the 100 Fly and 6th place in the 500 Free! We are so proud of him and how hard he works. He ended up qualifying for state in the 500 free, and placed 27th in the state!
Zane played more basketball this month and he did so well!
Me, Ivy, and Zane had a little treat at Cinnaholic this month!
Cora had a fun YW activity where they made wedding dresses out of garbage bags:
Ivy with her cutie best friend and their little art project:
Cora had a bunch of friends over this month and they sang some karaoke:
We got free ice cream cones at Dairy Queen this month!
After winter break, Ryan had to shave his beard for work:
Ryan took the kids to three different restaurants for dinner one night because they couldn't agree. The kids loved it, but they had to know that was a one time thing:
Ivy spilled her DQ slushie, so they scooped it into a bowl for her to still eat it:
Ryan swimming six across at his Master's swim team one morning:
Love this cute boy and his constant wearing of a backwards hat:
We took the kids to the temple early one morning to do baptisms and it was a great way to start the day!
