Ivy's 8th Birthday

We had fun celebrating Ivy for her birthday this year! She had a craft birthday party with friends, and here was the set-up:

During the party, they painted the first letter of their name, played on the trampoline, played "Little Sally Walker," decorated cupcakes and their favor bag, and ate breakfast!

Present time!

They loved decorating their cupcakes:

For her birthday dinner with Dallen and Cami, she chose waffles and fruit cars. She also made and decorated her own cake all by herself:

Here she is with Cora's hair:

On her actual birthday, she requested puffy pancakes for her breakfast in bed:

Then she opened her presents:

She got a desk for her room, an Echo, a magnet board, and more:

At school, her class all said nice things about her for her birthday and her teacher wrote them on the board:

Then for lunch we went to Golden Corral, just the two of us. Since it was Pi day, Ivy had a banana cream pie on her birthday:

It was so fun celebrating Ivy! She is smart, helpful, cuddly, brave, silly, and the kind of kid who makes everyone feel like they have a friend. She loves crafts, baking, dance, friends, sweatshirts, singing, whipped cream, cheeseburgers, and being with mom. She thinks she should be able to do all the fun things her older siblings do and she does a great job keeping up! We love her and are so grateful she's in our family!
