Summer Fun 2025- Part 3

We love hiking in the summer! Or at least I do. We went on the hike to Cecret Lake, and it was a fun one. There were beautiful wildflowers all along the way and beautiful scenery:

The lake itself was pretty, but the kids' and Ryan's favorite part of the whole hike was seeing the salamanders in the lake! They looked like adorable axolotls, and it was fun to try spotting them and watching them swim around:

Ryan, me, and the boys hiked the whole way around the lake:

The girls climbed and played on a big rock while they waited for us:

I took everyone but Cora to the Butterfly Biosphere while Cora was at cheer camp since she doesn't care much for that place. The rest of the kids had fun though:

Both Zane and Hyrum got to hold a butterfly this time:

One butterfly even landed on Zane:

They had a special presentation for the kids, and then we got to eat a chip-flavored cricket! It wasn't too bad tasting:

We went with Ryan's swim friends and their families to Deer Creek Reservoir, and we had a fun time!

I took all the kids to the Museum of Natural Curiosity, and they enjoyed it- though they aren't happy to play there as long as they used to be:

They had a special Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood exhibit while we were there:

Cora in a tornado:

We also got to ride their new carousel on this visit!

We've had a lot of fun this summer!
