We had a quick little weekend getaway in January as a family. On Friday we headed up to SLC to see Hyrum perform in the school district's Masterworks Concert at the Salt Lake Tabernacle. It was a really cool performance venue, and Hyrum did such a great job!

That night we stayed in SLC in a hotel, then we headed out the next morning to get to Boise. Once we checked into our Boise hotel the kids had a fun time playing in the pool with Ryan:
We made sure to stop and see the new Burley, ID temple!
Then we went to Weiser, ID for my niece's wedding reception! She looked beautiful and we were so grateful to be able to celebrate with her and my family:

The next morning we stopped to see Great-Great Grandma Beers- Hyrum played his cello for her, and some of the other kids played the piano for her, and it was a really nice visit. It was a surprise for her that we came, and she was so very grateful we came!
We drove home that afternoon! It was a quick trip, but nice to see so much family!
