Last Thursday evening we invited over a friend’s family and had a Harry Potter party in honor of the last movie coming out (we couldn’t go the midnight showing because of our kids). We ate some Harry Potter themed treats and watched HP 7: Part 1. It was really fun! And it was fun for me to get the treats together too :)
Funny story about these jelly beans, I got the Jelly Belly “Bean Boozled” box and sorted those in with regular Jelly Bellys. Ryan and our friend Justin had a fun time trying to taste the really gross ones. They had baby wipes, skunk smell, moldy cheese, toothpaste, and the very worst, centipede. I actually had a baby wipes one myself and it wasn’t too bad. It was just so funny to hear one of them yell out “oh gross!” when they happened upon a ‘special’ bean. Definitely my favorite part of the night.
It was a fun night, and I’m glad we did it, because this was probably my last chance! (Unless Hyrum decides to be a major HP fan or something. Do you think the craze will hit the next generation?)
It'll probably hit again in like 20-30 years like Lord of the Rings did.
