Four Things About Us

For Enrichment last night they had an activity where each woman was to bring four items that represent their interests or hobbies. I thought it was a pretty cool thing to do and I learned a lot about the women who participated.

I thought it would be fun to do it for our little family, and then do it again in maybe five or ten years and see how it’s changed. We also recently discussed what job we would love to have, if it could be anything, so I’m listing those too.

We’ll start with Ryan’s:

Ryan chose a netbook (but he keeps it at school, so I did a monitor instead), Psych, scuba/snorkel mask, and cookies. The netbook/monitor represents his interest in computers. He is always tinkering with something on his computers! He also loves scuba diving, and wishes he could do it every day. He loves being in the water and seeing all the cool fish up close. Ryan loves Psych, and we have watched all the seasons together multiple times. The cookies represent his love for eating treats, especially treats made by me :)

Dream Job: Professional Scuba Diver

Here’s mine (Tricia’s):

I chose “Disney A to Z,” a dance shoe,  measuring cups, and paint chips.  I chose this book in particular because I love all things Disney, and I especially love reading about it. I even did a report on Walt Disney for school once. I chose the dance shoe because I used to dance hardcore back in the day, and only really quit once Ryan and I got married. However, dance is still a big part of my life. I dance to workout, we have little dance parties at our house with our family, I LOVE the show SYTYCD, and I’m just always doing silly little dances around the house. The paint chips are for how much I love to decorate. I really liked painting our house, especially bright colors, and am having fun imagining all the things I would do with the house with a little more moolah. I chose the measuring cups because I love to bake and cook, especially new recipes and copycat restaurant recipes.

And here’s Hyrum’s (picked by Tricia):

Hyrum loves blocks, cars, Pixar movies and toys, and the iPad. He likes to build towers with blocks, drive his cars all over the house, watch as many Pixar movies as possible (Cars and the Toy Storys are his favorites), and wishes he could play the iPad all day, every day.
