Hyrum with his Martin cousins, where they were pretending there were princesses, a prince, a dragon (Hyrum) and the narrator. So cute! Reminds me of me and my cousins when we were little and playing at my grandma’s house :)
Cora rolled over from tummy to back for the first time August 1st. She now rolls both ways from her tummy, has rolled from back to tummy, and spends a fair amount of time up on her elbows. She even can kind of scoot herself to a toy as long as it isn’t too far from her.
Can I roll over?
I think so!
I did it!
Cora can shake rattles and pull toys on purpose.
Cora learned to grab her feet and now enjoys chomping on her toes when she can get to them :)
Hyrum likes to bring Cora toys and sometimes I’ll look over at her and all of the sudden she is loaded down with three or four different toys Hyrum has brought her.
The “flowers” Hyrum put together for me:
When we were watching the track sports, Hyrum would always say “I run fast like ‘lympics!” and then show me how fast he can run.
Hyrum can sing the ABCs and Twinkle Twinkle, and can write H and O.
Cora flaps like a bird sometimes, it’s so funny looking. I’ve got to get it on videotape.
Ryan got Cora to laugh! He does it by tickling under her chin, and even though I try the same thing, she does not laugh for me.
Cora smiles for me every time she wakes up and most times I look at her and talk to her. But she really only does this for me. Yes, she is another Mommy’s baby.
Cora’s 4 month stats: 25.5 inches (86%) and 12 pounds (20-25%)
Ryan started school (again). But not really his last first day picture, but almost!
I love these kids! And I LOVE being their mommy. No better job in the world than getting to spend all day, every day with these two cuties:
