We went to Disneyland the 2nd week of September with some of my family, and we had a super awesome experience. We went with my mom and dad, my nephew JJ, and my sister Mindi (for the last day). We stayed in a nice timeshare about a mile away from Disneyland, which was awesome because then the kids could be in a separate room from us. It had mini golf, a pool, and a hot tub. For the trip, I made all the kids shirts to wear on the first day:
The first day we went to Disneyland, and the first ride we went on was Star Wars. It was so fun going with Hyrum, because he’s still young enough to think that every ride is real. After Star Wars he told Ryan, “the asteroid almost killed us!” During the end of some of the rides he would tell me. “Are we going back to Disneyland now?” like we had actually left and travelled to some different world. I loved experiencing Disneyland through the eyes of an (almost) 4-year-old!
Autopia:
Cora was just 1/2 inch too short, so she hung out waiting for us:
Matterhorn!
Finding Nemo Submarine ride (one of Hyrum’s favorites). When we got off this one he said, “let’s go again! Right now!” Even now he tells me he wants to go back to Disneyland and go on the Finding Nemo ride:
The train (another Hyrum fav- he loved the dinosaurs):
Hyrum was glad and a little unsure about meeting the characters, but he got better as the day went on:
Outside of Splash Mountain- Hyrum went on it and liked it! (At least the first time):
JJ loved playing with the fireworks factory on Toontown:
Dumbo Ride:
Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride:
Alice in Wonderland:
That's so cute, the "Are we going back to Disneyland now?" after the Star Wars ride. That's so cool he was big enough to ride almost all the rides. Maybe next time we go Gabriel will tall enough too. Thanks for sharing!
