Cora had her birthday this past month! On her birthday, she got Lucky Charms for breakfast (her favorite cereal):
Then she opened some of her presents, with a little help from Hyrum:
She got a Dora backpack, a bottle for her baby, and a princess plate and cup:
Her Happy Birthday banner:
She had her best friend come over to play that morning, then Daddy took her to McDonald’s for lunch. That afternoon we drove to Grandma and Grandpa’s house in Mesa. We sang “Happy Birthday” to her many times that day, and she LOVED it. She would get a huge smile on her face when she saw everyone singing a song to her.
The next day we did her cake and presents with Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Mindi, with her Aunt Savili, Uncle James, and cousins coming later. She got her favorite dinner- pizza and watermelon, and she had Dora cupcakes:
Cora likes being sang to, but the dark and the flame scared her, so Daddy had to kind of hold her. She did blow out the candle (with a little help from Ryan):
She then go to open the rest of her presents, again with a big brother helping a bit more than needed. She got a Tinker Bell shirt, little apron set, a fish puzzle, small Ariel doll, and a Minnie with clip-on clothes:
Cora only licked her cupcake once, but she was VERY into the vanilla ice cream cone she got:
Happy birthday sweet Cora! We love having her in our family; she is such a girly, cuddly, strong little girl.
