We had a lot of fun for Easter this year! We dyed eggs, and some of the dye even made it on the eggs!
Easter weekend me and the kids went to Mesa, where we met up with most of my family for the Easter Pageant on the Mesa Temple Grounds. Hyrum loved the “Easter show” as he calls it, and had lots of questions for me through the whole thing.
On Saturday my parents had all the family over and some friends for a big, yummy breakfast and an Easter egg hunt. This was our kids’ second hunt of the year, since we did one with our ward the week before, but they really enjoyed this one because they got a lot more eggs and some of them even had money in them!
After the hunt the kids all wanted to go swimming, but for us adults it was way too cold. Mindi was the only one brave enough to go in (probably out of love for her nieces and nephews) so they got to go! Even with the cold, Cora was way happier about the pool than last summer. Hopefully swim lessons go well this year!
When we got home Sunday morning, the kids got to check out their Easter baskets. Hyrum got a new pink tie, a book, some cars, and some candy. Cora got a necklace, a book, a mermaid for the tub, and some candy. Ryan got new headphones, and I got some jewelry and craft stuff.
We got the kids dressed all cute and matching for Easter church, but getting a picture of them was a little tough, so here’s the best we got:
Hyrum loved singing “on the stage” for Easter during church and asks me all the time when he gets to do it again!
