A few weeks ago we had a little Halloween party/lunch and a trip to the Marana Pumpkin Patch with some friends. It was so fun!
I made some Halloween-themed treats for it, like graveyard chocolate pudding and rice crispy treat pumpkins:
The kids also made bat ornaments and played ‘Pin the Hat on the Witch:’
Then we went to the Marana Pumpkin Patch, where the kids met a scarecrow (which Cora wouldn’t get very close to, but she did wave at him):
She didn’t mind getting close to the pumpkins though:
There were so many activities to do! The kids jumped on a huge bubble for awhile, then we went on a train ride:
They played on a fun playground, we saw a pig race (we cheered for pink), and they got to sit on tractors:
They climbed the big hay bale tower, and went through its’ tunnel:
We also raced tractor bicycles, which may have been Hyrum’s favorite part of the day, since he wanted to do it over and over and over:
There was also a small petting zoo, where we saw a baby goat that had been born that day!
And we rode a tractor-pulled train too:
Then we went through the corn maze, where Ryan did his best to get the kids lost, making a very short kid maze a little longer and more fun for the kids:
The last thing we did was actually go to the pumpkin patch, where the kids picked out some good pumpkins:
We had a great time at the pumpkin patch, and I was so glad Ryan got to do it with us, even though he’s been pretty busy with work and job-hunting lately! It is a fun tradition that I hope we keep doing for a long time
