Thanksgiving 2015

We kept our tradition of thankful leaves for Thanksgiving this year, though our tree didn’t make it through the move so I made a new banner instead!

For Thanksgiving this year, we drove to North Dakota to spend it with Ryan’s family. On our drive up, Zane got to play in his first playplace!

The Schuetzlers laid out a pretty table for Thanksgiving dinner:

The kids’ table:

The adult table:

Someone ate an entire mashed potato mountain:

Then all the kids and dads went out and played in the snow!

Then Grandma Schuetzler’s cookie decorating party!

Everybody got an awesome, customized apron, including Zane:

Here’s some of the end result:

We got to watch the Macy’s Day parade:

And hang out as bearded dudes (and a cute little non-bearded girl):

And we got to go to the pool! As well as an indoor playplace a different day:

The kids also played with their grandparents and cousins and aunts and uncles (Cora particularly enjoyed playing Barbies with Grandpa):

We even got family pictures, since this was the first time the Schuetzlers had all been together in about 5 years:

More playplaces on the drive home, of course!

We had a great time in ND and were so glad we got to spend Thanksgiving with all the Schuetzlers!
