Our last day at DisneyWorld, we went to Animal Kingdom. We got there half an hour before the park even opened, and even then we still had to wait almost two hours to get on the new ride in Pandora- Flight of Passage. It was pretty cool, and that whole land has a lot of interesting stuff:
Ryan and Zane checked out some other parts of the park while the rest of us waited, like the flamingos and Dino Land. Zane loves dinosaurs so it turned out great:
Cora, Zane and I saw “It’s Tough to be a Bug” while the others rode Flight of Passage again (with a baby swap card):
The kids danced with one of the street shows:
The dinosaur ride:
Zane was too little and also tired, so he took a nap while the others went on that ride:
Triceratops Spin:
We all met up to go on Kiliminjaro Safaris, and it was a fun little tour of the animals- we even saw a baby hippo!
We all went on the Everest ride, and then Hyrum, Cora, Ryan, and Grandpa rode it a few more times with fastpasses and child swaps while me, Grandma and the littles watched the Lion King Festival:
We ended the night with some ribs and watching the Rivers of Light from afar. The next morning we were packing up, but made a super short trip to Disney Springs to the Lego store, where the kids picked out some legos to remember their trip from Grandma and Grandpa:
All the kids took a nap in the car on the way to the airport, though we were able to get some Steak n’ Shake on the way home- it was delicious!
Zane sure chugged this chocolate milk on the plane:
As our flight was about to pull away from the jet way, Ivy threw up all over me. They kindly reseated the man next to Ryan, so we could pass the puking baby back and forth during the flight. It was quite an exciting way to end the trip. At least no one was sick at DisneyWorld!
