We visited Schramm State Park and the Aksarben Aquatic Center for Memorial Day this year! We've never been and the kids really enjoyed it!
They had lots of activities in the Aquatic Center, like pretend bike riding:
They had a place where kids could use a magnifying glass, do puzzles, color, and even a little slide:
They also had a pretend camping area where the kids spent most of the time there:
Ryan, of course, had the idea to take a picture with a kid over the pretend fire, and once one kid did it, everyone had to do it:
There was a touch tank to try to pet some fish, but the fish seemed to not want to be pet so they stayed way at the bottom, out of reach:
Wingspans:
They had a small aquarium as well, where we saw some turtles and fish:
We also took a short hike around the old fish hatchery and ended up at this fun little park:
It was a great morning! There's so much to try in our area, and we love it!
