One Saturday in April we went on a family hike in Platte River State Park. The kids enjoyed picking different paths to follow, finding sticks to use as walking sticks, and looking for bugs and flowers:
We found a small cave!
And we made it to the railroad tracks by the river:
There was a log crossing this small chasm that we all tried to cross:
The kids found this giant stick/branch that everyone wanted a picture with:
We ended with a small climb up a lookout tower to look over the river:
