Then and Now with Ivy! She's grown so much!
Magical Superheroes Z and I!
Matching sisters! I love that they like to be matching:
One Saturday we went out to see the apple blossoms at an orchard in Nebraska City. It wasn't as cool as I thought it was going to be, but hey, we got out of the house! And the kids liked not being buckled on the drive through the orchard.
I love this tree when it has pink blooms in Spring!
The Kona shaved ice truck has made its way through our neighborhood a couple times this summer, and the kids like it!
Water gun fight:
Little sleeping cuties:
We had our traditional Cinco de Mayo feast in May, and the girls learned how to make tortillas with me this time!
May the 4th be with you celebration!
Ivy insists on wearing a skirt every day, so she can be a princess!
The kids worked really hard to each earn a Beanie Boo!
Cora's selfies:
Elsa and Olaf:
The older kids went scooting while I went rollerblading around the neighborhood one Saturday. I might be too old for that, but I only crashed and burned once!
Mother's Day! I sure love my kiddos. I am feel so lucky and blessed to be their Mama!
The kids enjoyed singing "Mother, I love you" to their grandmas and aunt!
Silly little sock hands:
Grandma Schuetzler sent some ice cream money for the kids, and they were so excited to go get some yummy Sonic ice cream!
Big news for the Schuetzler family! Ryan accepted a job at BYU, so we're moving to Utah at the end of July! I took a picture of all the kids in their BYU gear to announce it:
Ivy fell asleep on Cora one afternoon, and it was pretty sweet:
Zane was able to get a socially distanced picture with his preschool teachers before school ended this year! They were really great for him, and it was pretty sad that he didn't get to finish out the year with them.
We had a friend put in some tile in the basement to fix it up a bathroom before we sold the house, and Zane wrote this note for him in chalk on the sidewalk:
We learned recently that Cora has been playing a long con on Hyrum. Hyrum once mentioned that he hated having a pink or purple cup, so for the next few months Cora has been switching the pink and purple cups in the pile to constantly be on top. Hyrum has just thought, for months, that he had terrible luck when grabbing a cup! She is also such a sweet sister- she will even sing lullabies to Ivy at night or even read her a book before bed.
Cora the doctor!
We painted over the cityscape wall in Hyrum's room before selling the house, and Hyrum and Cora wanted to help out:
This 1,000 piece puzzle took Ryan a month's worth of weekends to finish, but he did it!
The kids first day after school got out, they had their traditional Video Game Day, with the next day being Movie Day:
May was also CF awareness month, so I took some pictures of kids doing their treatments for a social media post about our experience:
The kids each got to open a Treasure X box as part of the beginning of summer as well:
What I will mostly remember about May: anxiously wondering if Ryan would get an offer from BYU for the first half of it, receiving word May 15th about an offer from BYU, and then both Ryan and I spending the last half of May constantly working on getting the house ready to sell. And we did it! We listed the house for sale June 1st!
