NYE/New Year's Day 2021!

 

We had a fun New Year's Eve, with just our family. We did our traditional NYE game playing and appetizers all night long:

Then we went to a neighborhood fireworks show, which was actually awesome and lasted half an hour!

Then we got home and sang some karaoke:

When it got kind of late, we did an early countdown, stomped on a bunch of packing puffs, blew some poppers, and generally made a lot of noise:

We allowed all the kids to try to stay up until midnight, but only Hyrum and Cora made it. I think it was Cora's first year making it to midnight!

On New Year's Day, instead of going out to a movie in the Covid-craziness, we brought our bean bags upstairs and watched Pixar's new movie Soul with some popcorn and candy:

We also got some chicken fingers for dinner (instead of going out- again, Covid) and then we went to a Christmas light drive-thru called Christmas in Color:

We are SO glad to wave goodbye to 2020 and we truly hope for a better 2021!
