 Zane:

We did a lot of bike riding this month- it has become Ivy's favorite thing, and both her and Zane are riding a lot better this Spring!

Cora, Zane, and Ivy have all grown to love roly-poly bugs this Spring, and are constantly finding them, naming them, and making them pets. We even have to stop and look every time we find one on the sidewalk everywhere we go:

Zane had his last few soccer games this month, and he even had a few special people come watch him this season! His kindergarten teacher came to one game:

All the kids came to watch him a couple of times:

Ryan got to coach Zane's team a couple of times:

And Grandma and Grandpa Martin came to watch one of his games!

We celebrated May the 4th in style- with Star Wars cookies and a Lego Star Wars movie at night:

We had a fun Z is for Zoo preschool week, where Ivy built cages for the zoo animals, made a lion mane, matched letters to the animal, "freed" the zoo animals from the tape, and watched an elephant toothpaste experiment!

Cora made a carnival game for school using force and motion principles:

Ivy was grumpy on my lap in a very cute way:

Then she fell asleep:

One morning Hyrum read to all the kids out on the trampoline:

Ivy had dance pictures this month! She looked so cute and I can't wait for her recital in August:

Ivy's last week of preschool we did a review week while re-playing some of our greatest hits from the year, like letter slapping from bug week, counting cars in a car lot from transportation week, and doing ocean yoga from ocean week:

We had lots of park time this month too, just trying to enjoy the nice weather days!

Hyrum had Queen and King day at school and came home wearing a fun crown:

I had a great Mother's Day, that started with some early morning cuddles/tackling:

My Mother's Day flowers were beautiful!

We put the sprinklers out to water the back lawn, and the kids had a great time playing in it on the trampoline:

My parents came into town in May, and we got to celebrate my Dad's birthday with him and his twin brother!

And of course, they had to have their tea party with Grandma and Grandpa Martin:

These flowers bloomed in my front yard, and they're beautiful!

For FHE treat one nice night we ate our milkshakes out on the back patio:

Hyrum and Cora's last day of GATE they got to make some kites and try flying them. It was pretty difficult, but they were both able to get theirs up for awhile!

One Saturday we got to go to our friends' house in Northern Utah, and it was so fun! They had little ducklings that had just hatched, and the kids just adored holding them and seeing the last one hatch!

On the last day of the kids' school, we took them to the Cougareat and they each got to pick out a treat from the BYU Bookstore:

Zane loved making shapes with the Dominoes:

Cora had a lot of fun at her friend's birthday party:

Hyrum had to get his yearly labs at Primary Children's hospital, so he got rewarded with a lunch out:

Later it was Zane and Ivy's turn for yearly labs, and they got "secret ice cream" at Brooker's:

Ryan has enjoyed biking/taking the bus/taking the train to work this month!
