Hyrum's birthday was on a General Conference day this year, so we decided to go out as a family the day before, on a Friday evening. He chose to go to Tucano's for dinner (his new favorite), then we went to Provo Beach! The kids had fun playing arcade games, riding the carousel, climbing in the playground, and playing laser tag.
The kids also tried bowling for the first time (Cora did amazingly well for her first time):

We celebrated him at home that night with some of Ryan's smoked pork tenderloin, rolls, apples, and a pumpkin chocolate chip birthday cake:
Hyrum is responsible, a great big brother, so smart, he loves to tease, loves water sports, he's constantly reading, and is just an all-around great kid. We're glad he's ours!
