November 2021

We had a fun November this year! Here's a Then and Now of Zane:

And here's some cute memories of Cora and Ivy together:

Our ward had a Dia de los Muertos party on November 1st, and our kids loved getting their faces painted there:

Zane did wrestling in October and ended in November. He did such a good job! He really loved it and I loved watching him!

I went to a cookie decorating class this month, and it was so fun! I've never done something like that before, but now I definitely want to do it more!

Ivy and I had a few Mommy and Ivy days this month. One day we went to Zupa's and to the park:

A different day we went to the children's curiosity museum:
Ivy built a super tall tower there!

A different day we went to Farm Country:

Fall tree picture!

Ryan grew a mustache for no-shave November. He hated it, and it looked ridiculous, but he did it anyways. In the blue jacket, he looked a bit like Ted Lasso:
I got to chaperone Cora's field trip this month to the Clark Planetarium in SLC!

I also took the girls to the Nutcracker at the Covey Center this month. We all loved it!

We got Sub Zero ice cream afterwards:

Ivy LOVES to dance:

Ryan and I went on a date this month out to dinner, did a little clothes shopping at Target, and then tried pickle ball and racquetball at our gym! (I was really terrible at pickleball).

Cora and Zane got their first Covid shot this month! One step closer to full family immunity!
Sometimes Hyrum doesn't want his picture taken:
Cheer stunts with the neighbors:
Our neighbor helped Zane build some of his birthday Legos:
My mom and dad came to town for Thanksgiving, so we took them to campus one day for lunch at the Cannon Center. They also got to see some Christmas decorations in the Tanner building:

When Zane went birthday shopping with my parents, he left this note for the other kids with the consent for them to build some of his birthday Legos without him. He's a sweet boy!
Cora built this Thanksgiving Day parade "float" at school. It's a Thanksgiving meal with turkey, masked potatoes, and cranberry sauce:
On Thanksgiving morning, I forced my kids to do a turkey trot around our neighborhood with me. They weren't thrilled, but they did it anyways:

After the trot was had cinnamon rolls and watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade:

We had Thanksgiving dinner at my Uncle Jerry and Aunt Leslie's house. It was great! The kids had a fun time playing at the park and with this giant frisbee they found after dinner:

I was assigned to bring a veggie tray, so of course I had to make it cute:

Friday after Thanksgiving I took the littles to Coconut Cove:

While we were there, Mindi took Hyrum and some friends to Evermore, where they went on quests, did some archery, and competed in a tournament:
Hyrum even won the tournament for his age group!

Saturday after Thanksgiving we went to see Encanto in theaters, then had my cousin and her kids and my Aunt and Uncle over for some dinner and hanging out:

My dad even played some chess with the kids:

On Sunday the kids ate some fun Christmasy donuts from Auntie Mindi, and had a tea party with everyone:

We also opened some Lego advent calendars from Auntie Mindi for Christmas:
The kids were exhausted after such a fun weekend!
Ivy loves to take random pictures of me:
We all got to visit Daddy's robot this month! It's still broken, but hopefully he'll be able to do more with it eventually:

The three littles got to go to the last BYU football game with Ryan this month! They had a great time:

Our kids had fun playing outside with neighbors this month enjoying the nice weather:

The three younger kids were in the primary program at church this month. Cora's line was about how she loved all the temples and seeing them made her happy. Zane's line was about how Heavenly Father gives him the strength to play. Ivy's line was about how she knows Jesus loves her.

Ivy's cutie little Sunbeam class:

We made our thankful leaves again this year!
