Ivy had an awesome 5th birthday! She started her celebration at preschool the Friday before her birthday. She got a crown, got to be the line leader, and brought her class mini donuts!
That Saturday we did our family celebration at Provo Beach, like Ivy wanted. We rode the carousel:
Played mini croquet:
The kids played in the big indoor playplace:
And they did a few of the arcade games:
On Sunday we had the dinner she picked out- quesadillas, tortillas, ranch, jello shapes, fruit cars, and Fanta:
On her actual birthday she got breakfast in bed (cinnamon rolls and berries):
Then she opened her presents:
She got a little purse, a new BYU cheerleader outfit, binoculars, a singing Rapunzel doll, plus other things:
Later that day we took the bus (Ivy's request) to BYU campus to have lunch at the Cannon Center and visit Daddy at work:
One of Ryan's classes also sang her happy birthday! She loved it:
When we got home we made homemade ice cream and an apple pie together (since her birthday is on Pi day):
The day after her birthday we did a special Mommy/Ivy day in honor of Ivy's birthday- afternoon tea at Taste! It was extra fancy and delicious:
Grandma and Grandpa Schuetzler got into town soon after Ivy's birthday, and they took her birthday shopping, where she picked out this awesome Ariel balloon!
Ivy loves to help in the kitchen, so she was extra excited to help make her cake for her birthday party. It was an Isabella Madrigal cake since she had an Encanto-themed party:For her party we rented a bounce house, which the kids literally played in for almost eight hours straight that day:
We also did a couple flower crafts at the party (which Ivy insisted on doing since she LOVES crafts):
She had so many friends at her party, and just had the most wonderful time:
We ended the party with a pinata!
