This Is The Place/Clark Planetarium Visits

 We started the summer off with a fun trip to This Is The Place park up in SLC. The kids got to do a ton of things there, including a pony ride:

Play at a little playground:

Ride a mini train:


Pan for gold:


Pet some farm animals, including baby sheep and goats:

Milk a pretend cow:
See a teepee:

And push a handcart:


A few weeks later we went to SLC again, but this time we took the Frontrunner up to the Clark Planetarium. The kids love taking the train:


The kids had a great time at the Planetarium. They saw a meteorite, landed a spaceship, made black holes, saw how the earth rotates, and pretended they were on Mars:






We happened to be there the same day as a chalk art festival, and there was a lot of cool chalk art:




There were also some princesses hanging out for an event, and Cora and Ivy got to dance with them!


While we waited for the Frontrunner to come back to take us home, the kids loved riding the escalators up and down:
