Then and Nows:
Ivy went to her friend's birthday party this month at Provo Beach and had a great time:
Hyrum had a swim meet in Cottonwood Heights at the beginning of June, and he rocked it, even though he was still getting over a cold:
Zane lost a tooth this month, and he accidentally swallowed it, so he left this note under his pillow:
The kids' piano teacher had a baby in May, and the kids (and me) all really love when she brings her to lessons!
The kids all did a summer camp this month. Zane did a space camp and Ivy did a maker camp both at Thanksgiving Point. Cora did a baking camp with me at home since her baking camp got cancelled, and she also did a little cake decorating camp at the Provo rec center. Here she is with her first decorated cupcakes, which included an owl and a dog:
Fondant emoji face cupcakes:
Her last day of camp she got to put together her own mini cake and fully decorate it:
For Cora's home baking camp, she got to choose what we made together while the other kids were at their camps. She made homemade Oreos, golden Oreo truffles, cinnamon bread, and cinnamon rolls:
Hyrum did a video game programming class, where he made a pong type of game, a fish game, and ended with a Mario-type game:
Me and the kids went to the Museum of Ancient Life one day with some friends. The kids had a great time:

An old friend from high school stopped by one morning with some of her kids, and it was so fun to catch up!
I took Cora and Ivy to the children's museum one afternoon while we waited for Zane's summer camp to finish:
We went to the Strawberry Days Rodeo in Pleasant Grove one evening with friends from our neighborhood. It was hot, but we had a fun time!
We got tickets for the whole family to Parade of Homes this month, and I ended up taking out the kids to look at houses a few different times. We all loved it and got some great ideas:
One time I drove out to Saratoga Springs and forgot our tickets, so we got some shaved ice while we waited for Ryan to text us pictures of our tickets:
While we were in Saratoga Springs, we got to see the new temple out there- and it looks almost finished!
We went on a group date with some friends in our neighborhood this month to a Go-Cart place. I was terrible at it, but we had fun!
We celebrated Ryan for Father's Day this month. He got a pickleball set, an electric scooter, and some Built bars. We made him breakfast in bed and some delicious dinner, and he got a nice break and played a game with the kiddos:
Cora is on a recreational swim team this summer, and she had her first swim meet in June! She did so great, and we are proud of her for trying:
I took all the kids to the Museum of Natural Curiosity with some friends this month:
Hyrum had another swim meet at the end of June, and he did really awesome. He even got .04 seconds away from a state time in his 50 free!
I took the kids to see Lightyear at the movie theater this month and they loved it:
All the kids have to make dinner two times this summer, and Zane's first dinner to make was chocolate chip pancakes:
These kids are loving swim lessons!
Such a cool guy:
I took the kids to the Butterfly Biosphere this month:
They even got to hold a worm:
The littles got to take the bus home with Ryan from swim team practice one day, but Zane fell asleep before they made it home:
Zane and Ivy were looking for a stuffed animal one day, so Zane grabbed a magnifying glass and Ivy would write "notes" about if they had found anything (pretty much just 'no'):
Ivy earned her date for the summer (the kids have to read a certain number of books of our choosing), so she chose to get dinner at Pizza Pie Cafe and then her and Ryan painted some unicorns at Color Me Mine:
Sometimes Zane sleeps in weird places:
