Summer Fun 2024- Part 1

We started the summer off with a bang! The last day of school for the kids we went to Airborne (a trampoline park) and the kids all had a blast:

We also went to an escape room at The Escape Date, where we did a magician-themed room. We were able to find the magician's missing hat with 22 minutes left!

We got season passes to Lagoon this year, so we took our first trip out there at the end of May. The big kids had a blast riding all the big roller coasters:

Me and Ivy had a good time on some smaller rides, like the bumper cars, ferris wheel, carrousel, and train:

We all loved the Sky Tram:

Hyrum got a little scared for his turn for the ferris wheel:

It was a great first trip to Lagoon this summer! We got there right when it opened, rode a ton of rides the first couple of hours, then went home when the lines got long and it got hot:

Our town had a really fun festival that we got to be a part of this year! The PTA at my kids' elementary school decided to walk in the non-motorized parade, and that was fun to participate in. Zane got to walk with me in the raptor costume! Ivy wanted to come, but she was sick that night.

Zane enjoyed the block party the city held that night too:

The next day the two little kids enjoyed some bouncy houses, pony rides, and picture opportunities:

They also loved the candy cannon:

The last day of the festival our family participated in the Vineyard Days race! Ryan and Hyrum ran the 5K:

We loved getting to cheer them on a little:

Then the other kids ran the kids' 1k race (I ran with Ivy so she wasn't alone):

They all did great!

The kids had fun doing some of the carnival games and rides:

That night we all watched the fireworks! Hyrum had his friends over to go watch them at our city park as well.

It was a great start to the summer!
