 The kids are growing up so fast!

Zane had a few swim team meets this month, and he did great!

He always got faster on his events, and he even got 1st place in the 25 butterfly! Cora tried to race him, and she can still beat him, but not for long!

Hyrum likes to hang out in the hall sometimes, because he's not supposed to be on his phone in his room:

Fun trip to Lagoon with my parents in July!

We even checked out Lagoon-a-beach this time:

We took the whole family to see Seussical, and my parents came too!

We had "cooking camp" again this summer, where all the kids have to cook a meal for the family once. Cora chose cheesy, crispy chicken, and she had to be forced to touch the raw chicken:

We tried out a new splash pad in Springville this year, and it had a fun park too:

Ivy got hurt, but ended up having fun anyways:

While my parents were here, we celebrated Ryan's birthday at Chili's:

Ryan and I went to one of his former student's wedding receptions this month. This student even told her dad that Ryan and a few other professors changed her life enormously:

Ryan and I went to "Crazy For You" at the Scera Outdoor Theatre for a date one night, and though the forecast said the chance of rain was small, it actually ended up raining quite a bit. We still enjoyed it though!

Each of the kids got a night to have a few friends over this summer. For Zane's "friend night," they played with the sprinkler, had pizza and ice cream sundaes, and watched a movie:

Hyrum went to Young Men's camp this month! He had a lot of fun and was especially glad that he got in a tent with the older, more chill boys. They did an inflatable obstacle course on the lake and other fun things!

Ivy wanted me to do her hair a few times this month, including this "Jasmine" hairstyle:

Zane's hair got really long this month, so before we took him to get it cut we decided to play around with it a bit:

Fun, quick trip to the splash pad one day:

Ivy's dance team did an Amazing Race type scavenger hunt, and they had so much fun completing the challenges! They slid down a slide all together, did a leg hold at a stop sign, did a fashion show and performed a dance at Walmart, helped a stranger with groceries, proposed to a stranger, and a bunch of other fun and funny things:

Cora's friend night also included ice cream sundaes and a movie:

Ivy's new dance team had pictures this month!

Zane got an award on the last day of his swim team for best KOBS, which is a type of swimming move. Ivy took private swim lessons this summer and is so close to swimming on her own!

Hyrum competed in the Utah Age Group State Meet this month! He qualified in 6 events this year, which is the most you can swim, and by far the most he's ever qualified for! We are so proud of him!

Hyrum even shaved his legs for state:

The shaved legs must have worked, because he ended up 15th (in the state!) in the 100 Fly, 16th in the 400 IM, and 9th in the 800 Free and 1500 Free! He pushed himself so hard and did SO great.

We all LOVED watching the Olympics this month, and the girls even took to practicing some gymnastics skills around the house:

Cora was the first kid to earn her date this summer, and she chose to go to a movie and the Puppy Store. We got this adorable little guy to play with and Cora was in heaven!

We also got ice cream at Brooker's afterwards:

Cora went hiking with her youth group one week, and they had a blast:

Hyrum made mouse trap cars with his youth group this month, and he was so excited that his car won the race!

It was a great month with a lot of fun summer activities!
