For New Year's Eve we took the kids to get some free ice cream cones we'd been saving up coupons for, which they all enjoyed a lot! Zane got two ice cream cones because his were a bit smaller than the other kids' cones:
We also had a little family party at home that night to ring in the New Year:
We ate appetizers, played board games, sang karaoke, and watched some shows together. Then we made a lot of noise and opened crackers at midnight!
On New Year's Day, we went to a movie like we usually do. This year we went to Moana 2:
Then we went to lunch at Via 313, where everyone convinced me to try to eat a salad with tongs:
And we got some delicious and colorful lemonades:
The rest of the day was just spent hanging out together and playing games like giant Jenga (that we got for Christmas):
It was a fun and chill holiday, and I was glad to have some rest and good amounts of family time!
